This is the reverse of Attribute Value Combiner — use it to break a combined code, a full name, or a concatenated address into its components.
ការប្រើប្រាស់
- Delimiter is the character the value is split at. Choose it carefully: a value containing the delimiter inside one of its parts will split into more pieces than expected.
- Output fields are chosen from Available Fields and arranged in Selected Output Order. The order matters — the first part of the split goes to the first field in the list, the second to the second, and so on. Use Up, Down, and Remove to arrange them.
- When Parts Are Missing and Clear missing output parts control what happens when a value yields fewer parts than there are output fields:
- Clear missing output parts checked — the surplus output fields are emptied, so no stale value from a previous run is left behind. This is normally what you want.
- Unchecked — the surplus fields keep whatever they already held, which can leave misleading data from an earlier split.
- Overwrite existing output values governs whether populated output fields are replaced.
- Use selected features only limits the operation to the current selection — the safe way to test the delimiter and the field order.
- Check a sample of results in the attribute table before running on the whole layer. Inconsistent source formatting is the usual cause of misaligned parts, and it is easier to spot in a handful of rows.

|---|---|
| Target Layer | The layer or table to operate on. |
| Source Field | The field whose value is split. |
| Output Fields | The fields receiving the parts. Available Fields lists the candidates; All and Clear select and deselect everything. |
| Selected Output Order | The ordered list of output fields. The first part of the split goes to the first field. Arrange with Up, Down, and Remove. |
| Delimiter | The character the source value is split at. |
| Clear missing output parts | Empties surplus output fields when a value yields fewer parts than there are fields, preventing stale values. |
| Use selected features only | Restricts the operation to the features currently selected in the map. |
| Overwrite existing output values | Replaces values already present in the output fields. |
| Split Values | Writes the split parts. |
របៀបប្រើ
- Create the output fields you need, using Add multiple Fields.

- Set Target Layer and Source Field.
- Type the Delimiter.
- Choose the output fields and arrange them in Selected Output Order so they match the order of the parts.
- Check Clear missing output parts.
- Select a few features and check Use selected features only, then click Split Values and inspect the result.
