Add multiple Fields

- Fields are defined in the Fields To Create grid, one row per field. Use Add Row and Remove Row to build the list.
- Each row carries five properties:

| Name | The field name, subject to the target workspace's naming rules |
| Type | The field data type |
| Length | The character length; applies to text fields only and is ignored for other types |
| Alias | The display name shown in the attribute table and in labels |
| Nullable | Whether the field accepts null values |
- The Alias column is the reason to prefer this tool over the standard Fields view for bulk work: a descriptive alias can be set at creation time rather than added afterwards, and aliases are what appear in the attribute table and pop-ups.
- Field names must satisfy the target workspace's rules. Shapefiles limit names to 10 characters; geodatabases are far more permissive. If the layer is a shapefile, keep names short and put the readable text in Alias.
- This tool adds many fields to one layer. To add one field to many layers, use Batch Add Field.

- Setting Nullable to false on a field commits you to supplying a value for every existing feature as well as every new one — check that the layer's existing rows can satisfy that before disallowing nulls.

របៀបប្រើ
- On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Data Management group, open the VectorIQ menu, point to Manage, and click Add multiple Fields.
- Set Target Layer.
- Click Add Row and fill in the field's Name and Type.
- For a text field, set Length. Set a readable Alias, and clear Nullable only if every existing row can hold a value.
- Repeat for each field.
- Click Create Fields, then Close.
- Populate the new fields with Add value to fields or Default Value Filler.
