The standard clip tool handles one input at a time. This tool takes a whole list — roads, buildings, land use, hydrology — and clips them all to the same study area.

ការប្រើប្រាស់

  • Input feature to clip accepts layers of any geometry type, and they may be mixed. Points, lines, and polygons can be clipped in the same run.
  • Input clip feature must be a polygon layer. It defines the boundary that all inputs are clipped to.
  • Each input produces its own output feature class in Output Location, named after the input layer.
  • If the clip boundary contains multiple polygons, the inputs are clipped to the union of them all.
  • Attributes are preserved on the clipped features. Geometry is cut at the boundary, so a line or polygon crossing the boundary is truncated there.

របៀបប្រើ

  1. Add the layers to clip and the boundary polygon to the map.
  2. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Spatial Analysis group, open the Spatial Analysis menu, point to Coverage Tools, and click Clip Multiple.
  3. In Input feature to clip, select every layer to be clipped.
  4. Set Input clip feature to the study-area polygon.
  5. Set Output Location.
  6. Click Run. One clipped feature class is created per input.
