Parcel orientation shows how a block was laid out — whether plots face a road consistently, and where a parcel breaks the prevailing pattern.
ការប្រើប្រាស់
- Input Parcel Layer accepts polygon layers only.
- Add Field to Layer? is unchecked by default, so the tool writes only the summary table and leaves the parcel layer untouched. Check it to add the orientation as an attribute field, which allows the parcels to be symbolised or labelled by direction directly.
- Orientation is derived from geometry, so run the tool on a projected layer. Angles computed in a geographic coordinate system are distorted by latitude.
- A near-square or highly irregular parcel has no meaningful predominant direction; treat the reported value for such parcels with caution.

របៀបប្រើ
- Confirm the parcel layer uses a projected coordinate system.
- On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Geoprocessing group, open the Cadastral Tools gallery and click Direction Analyzer.
- Set Input Parcel Layer and Parcel ID Field.
- Set Output Summary Table.
- To symbolise the parcels by orientation afterwards, check Add Field to Layer?.
- Click Run.
