Edit Table

ការប្រើប្រាស់

  • The editor is a standalone window rather than the docked attribute table, so it can be sized and positioned independently and kept open beside the map.
  • Display Data controls which fields are shown. Field, with Select All and Clear, chooses them — useful on a wide table where only a handful of fields are being edited.
  • Query Feature? enables Query, which filters the displayed rows. The label states the scope plainly: it filters the displayed rows, not the layer. Unlike Filter Selection, which applies a definition query affecting the whole project, this filter is local to the editor window.
  • Edits are staged. Save Edit commits them and Revert discards them, so a mistaken change can be undone as long as it has not been saved.
  • Two export actions do different things:

  • Refresh re-reads the layer, picking up changes made elsewhere in the project.
  • For bulk attribute entry, Excel is often faster — see Edit in Excel, which round-trips the table through a spreadsheet.

Layer

The layer whose attribute table is opened.

Refresh

Re-reads the layer, picking up external changes.

Field

The fields to display. Select All and Clear toggle the whole list.

Query Feature?

Enables the row filter.

Query

The filter expression limiting the displayed rows. Local to this window.

Data Display

The editable grid of rows.

Save Edit

Commits the staged edits.

Revert

Discards the staged edits.

Export Table

Exports the attribute rows, without geometry.

Export Feature

Exports the features, including geometry.

របៀបប្រើ

  1. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Necessary Edit Tools group, open the Edit in Excel menu's parent group and click Edit Table.
  2. Set Layer.
  3. Under Field, click Clear and then select only the fields you need, to reduce the grid to a workable width.
  4. To work on a subset, check Query Feature? and enter a Query.
  5. Edit the values in the grid.
  6. Click Save Edit to commit, or Revert to discard.
  7. Use Export Table or Export Feature if the result needs to be written out.
