ទិដ្ឋភាពទូទៅ

This is a three-button round trip, and the buttons must be used in order:

StepButton
1Edit in Excel (this tool) — export the table
2Edit the workbook in Excel and save it
3Apply Excel Edits — push the changes back

Settings configures how both ends of the round trip behave.

ការប្រើប្រាស់

  • A feature layer must be selected in the Contents pane. The button is governed by the esri_mapping_featureLayerSelectedCondition condition and is disabled otherwise, with the tooltip "Select a feature layer in the Contents pane to enable this tool."
  • The workbook is written to the export location configured in Settings, or to the system temp directory if none is set. For work spanning more than one session, set a real folder — a file in the temp directory can be cleared by the operating system.
  • Do not add, delete, or reorder columns in the workbook, and do not change the OBJECTID values. The apply step matches rows back to features by OBJECTID; altering the structure breaks that correspondence. Edit the values in place only.
  • Settings can show the OBJECTID column as read-only and apply domain value dropdowns in Excel, which keeps entry within the permitted values.
  • The Max records setting caps how many rows are exported. Check it before exporting a large layer — a cap set below the layer's row count means you are editing only part of the data.
  • Only one editing session is tracked at a time. Complete or abandon a round trip before starting another.
