Update

• Clicking the button starts a check immediately. There is no dialog to fill in.
• The check is not silent: the result is reported whether or not an update was found, so clicking the button always tells you something. (The same check also runs automatically in the background, where it reports only when an update exists.)
• When an update is available, a download progress window appears while the new version is retrieved.
• An internet connection is required. The check fails with a message if the update service cannot be reached.
• ArcGIS Pro normally needs to be restarted for a newly installed add-in version to take effect.

1. Save your project, since installing an update may require restarting ArcGIS Pro.
2. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Product group, click Update.
3. Wait for the check to finish. The result is reported either way.
4. If an update is offered, accept it and let the download complete.
5. Restart ArcGIS Pro, then confirm the new version in About.

This tool runs without a license.
