To Google Earth Web

Use it for a quick three-dimensional look at the terrain and buildings around the area you are mapping.

• The tool has no dialog. It projects the map centre to WGS 84 and builds a Google Earth Web URL containing the latitude, longitude, altitude, and viewing distance.
• Unlike To Google Map, the current map extent does influence the view — the altitude and distance are derived from it, so Google Earth opens at a comparable scale.
• An internet connection and a browser that supports Google Earth Web are required.
• The tool reports an error if there is no active map view.

1. Zoom and pan the map to the area you want to open.
2. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the unnamed Go-to group, open the Maps gallery and click To Google Earth Web.
3. Google Earth Web opens in the default browser, positioned over the map centre.

Requires an active KGA Toolbox license. The tool validates the license before running.
