To Google Map

Use it to check what the current location looks like on Google's base data, or to obtain a shareable Google Maps link for a location you are working on.

• The tool has no dialog. It takes the centre point of the active map view, projects it to WGS 84, and opens Google Maps at that latitude and longitude.
• Only the centre point is passed — the map scale is not carried across, so Google Maps opens at its own default zoom.
• An internet connection and a default browser are required.
• The tool reports an error if there is no active map view, or if the map centre cannot be projected to WGS 84.

1. Zoom and pan the map to the area you want to open.
2. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the unnamed Go-to group, open the Maps gallery and click To Google Map.
3. Google Maps opens in the default browser at the map centre.

Requires an active KGA Toolbox license. The tool validates the license before running.
