Triangulation is the traditional way to compute and verify parcel area by hand: split the polygon into triangles, measure each, and sum them. The lines also document the geometric basis of an area calculation on a survey sheet.

ការប្រើប្រាស់

  • Input Parcel Feature accepts the parcel polygon layer.
  • Both parameters carry the label Input Parcel Feature on the dialog. The first is the input polygon layer; the second is the output line feature class. Read them in order — the second is the output, despite its label.
  • The output is a line feature class of the triangulation diagonals, ready to symbolise on a survey sheet.

របៀបប្រើ

  1. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Geoprocessing group, open the Cadastral Tools gallery and click Triangulation Builder.
  2. Set the first Input Parcel Feature parameter to the parcel polygon layer.
  3. Set the second Input Parcel Feature parameter to the output line feature class path.
  4. Click Run.
  5. Add the output to the map and symbolise the triangulation lines as the survey sheet requires.
