Pivot Table Builder

This is the grouped counterpart to Statistics Summary: one row per category, rather than one overall figure.
ការប្រើប្រាស់
- Group Field defines the categories — one output row per distinct value. Value Field supplies the numbers being summarised.
- Every group gets the same columns:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Group | The Group Field value |
| Count | Rows in the group |
| Values | Rows with a non-null value |
| Nulls / Null % | Rows with no value, in absolute and percentage terms |
| Sum / Average | The total and the mean |
| Minimum / Maximum / Range | The extremes and their span |
| Median | The middle value |
| Variance / Std. Dev. | The spread |
- The Null % column is the one to read first. A group whose values are mostly null has statistics based on very few rows, and its average is not comparable with a well-populated group's. The column exists so that this is visible rather than hidden.
- Choose a Group Field with a manageable number of distinct values. Grouping by a near-unique field such as a parcel number produces one row per feature and tells you nothing.
- Use selected features only restricts the pivot to the current map selection.
- Build Pivot computes the table; Export Pivot writes it out for use in a report or spreadsheet.

របៀបប្រើ
- On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Data Management group, open the VectorIQ menu, point to Analyze, and click Pivot Table Builder.
- Set Layer.
- Set Group Field to a category field with a reasonable number of distinct values — a land-use class or a village code, not a parcel number.
- Set Value Field to the number being summarised.
- Click Build Pivot.
- Check the Null % column. Discount any group whose values are largely missing.
- Click Export Pivot to take the result into a spreadsheet or report.
